How you get your licence with us

On your first lesson you almost never drive straight into town. We find a quiet spot where you learn to operate the car: clutch, throttle, steering, braking. That sounds dull, but it is exactly what later frees up space in your head for the traffic around you.

As soon as that works, we move to the residential areas of Breda. Right of way, junctions, roundabouts. Then the arterial roads and the motorway, where you learn to merge and change lanes. In the final phase you drive on navigation and perform exam tasks without your instructor saying anything.

You plan your lessons yourself in the app, evenings and weekends included. One lesson a week works, two lessons a week works better: the shorter the gaps, the less you have to catch up at the start of each lesson. More about that at planning lessons.

Halfway we do a progress review. That is not an exam, but an honest conversation with your lesson card at hand: this comes naturally, here we will spend the remaining lessons. So you know well before your exam whether you are on track. How we build up the lessons is at structured lessons.
