Your licence, our drive!

We teach in Breda and the immediate area, and pick you up wherever it suits you: at home, at school or at work. That saves travel time, and it means you learn to drive in the area where you will take your exam.

A lesson is 50 minutes of actual driving time. Not 45 minutes with a coffee break, but 50 minutes in which you drive. At the start we find quiet streets to learn to operate the car. Then come the residential areas with their junctions and roundabouts, the busier arterial roads around the city, and finally the motorway with merging and changing lanes. That order is not arbitrary. Only when operating the car comes naturally do you have head space left for the traffic around you; and only when you read the traffic can you drive independently on navigation. How we build that up and keep track is at structured lessons.

You take all your lessons with the same instructor, so you never have to explain again where you left off. That is Kamiel, who has experience with exam anxiety, ADHD and autism and adjusts the pace accordingly. You plan lessons yourself in the app, evenings and weekends included: see planning lessons.

You may start from 16.5 with 2toDrive; at 17 you can take the practical exam and until you are 18 you drive with a coach. More about that at lessons from 16.5. You only need your theory certificate when booking the practical exam, so you can start before your theory is done — although getting it earlier does make things easier. See the theory page.

What it costs depends on the number of lessons you need. On average that is 35 to 40; after a trial lesson you get an estimate based on your own driving. All packages and separate rates are at prices and packages.
